Dustin Johnson had told a buddy of his that he was dating Natalie Gulbis. It didn’t sound all that far-fetched. Actually, sounded like a good match. They both are on TaylorMade’s staff, both are young and good looking, and each has a love for the party scene.
But who was going to confirm for me that the two were dating?
Well, Natalie Gulbis did the handy work when she arrived on Maui to watch her new beau play in the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. Stephanie Wei and Alan Shipnuck caught up with Gulbis, as well as a few other reporters, to see if the rumor was true. It is.
The two became an item after competing in the Wendy’s 3 Tour Challenge in November. Gulbis is a bit of a cougar in this relationship at 28 compared to Dustin Johnson at 25. (Smart move, Dustin. I married older.) The announcement of their relationship comes on the heels of news that her former boyfriend Ben Roethlisberger is engaged to be married.
