Finally, almost every golfer in the world can say that they have outdriven Tiger Woods.
On the second tee of his second round today at the WGC Cadillac Championship, Woods hit what must rank as one of the two or three worst shots of his career. On Twitter, Randall Mell of the Golf Channel described it as "a low hackers duck hook that barely went 100 yards off 2nd tee." (It was actually measured at 122 yards.)
Golf World's Ron Sirak called it a "stank job." Wonder if he meant "shank job"? No matter - "stank" works just as well.
So there you go, folks: Head out to the golf course, pound a drive 123 yards, and gloat about outdriving Tiger Woods. But Tiger went on to salvage a bogey after his terrible drive. Good luck with that one.
(By the way, Woods' 122-yard drive failed to clear the forward tees, a k a the "ladies tees." Some of you probably have a tradition for such situations ...)
